Why Life Groups?
In the New Testament the church is described as a body made up of individual parts, united together with Christ as the head.
We are also called a temple, and each of us is a stone fitted together with Christ as the most important Cornerstone.
These images and others remind us that we are one body, one temple... we were not meant to live out our faith alone. We were made to be part of a community, with God and with one another.
Life Groups give us an opportunity to live out these truths in ways that go beyond the Sunday morning worship service. We learn, pray, struggle, and serve together. And as we do these things, we become more like Christ…together.
We also have groups meeting throughout the week in multiple locations.
Find A Life Group
Life Groups are an essential part of our church. They provide a place where deeper fellowship and greater support for one another can take place. Although the early church worshiped in large settings in the synagogue, they also worshiped together in their homes, in this same way, we gather together in small groups, in order to have a deeper fellowship with one another and with God. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. We are His Church. Thus, we intentionally strive toward small groups in personal settings.
